  The 5 Questions In Life
The 5 greatest questions in life
by
Randy Blankenship
1. Origin: Where did we come from?
2. Identity: Who are we?
3. Meaning: Why are we here?
4. Morality: How should we live?
5. Destiny: Where are we going?

The answers to each of these questions depend on the existence of God. If God exists, there is meaning and purpose to our lives. If there’s a real purpose to our lives, then there is a real right and wrong way to live it. Choices we make now not only affect us here but also will affect us in eternity.

If there is no God then there is no enduring purpose to life, it doesn’t matter how you live or what you believe. Your destiny is DUST!

     Origin:
We are created beings, made in the image of God (Gen. 1;26-27). The Genesis account contradicts evolution. Adam was created from the dust of the ground, he did not evolve from other animals (Gen.2:7). His was a direct, immediate creation at God’s command. Eve was created from Adam; she did not evolve separately. Adam could speak a language, study and name animals, and engage in life-sustaining work. He was not an ignorant half-ape.

     Identity:
Since we are made in the image of God, we are creatures of supreme worth. We are loved by God and given rights and responsibilities ( Jn. 3:16-18; 1;12-13). We are blood bought, Spirit filled children of the Living God!

     Meaning:
It all started with Adam and Eve. Water under the bridge! It might be but what they did on that day, when they fell from grace, has had a profound effect on the human race. It changed the way God dealt with man! We confirm the choice of Adam and Eve by our own dis-obedience (Rom.5:12). Even after man fell in the garden he retained the ability to make choices, free will. God continued to give man commands, direction, and teachings after the fall. This pre-supposes mans ability to keep God’s commands. Now we find ourselves in the position of making choices. This temporal life is the choosing ground for the eternal one. (Eccles. 12:13-14; Matt.5:16).

     Morality:
God first loved us, we should love Him and others (Rom.5:8; 1 Jn.4:19-21). (Titus2:11-14; 3:3-7).

     Destiny:
God’s justice demands that He punishes our sins, but because of His love He has taken the punishment on Himself (Isa. 53). This is the only way he could remain just and justify sinners (Rom.3: 26).

God has made the evidence for Christianity convincing but not compelling. If you want to ignore it you are free to do so. You can reject Christ but you cannot say there’s not enough evidence to believe in Him. In the end there are only two kinds of people. Those who say to God, THY WILL BE DONE and those to whom God says, THY WILL BE DONE. All that are in Hell choose it! God honors your choice.
